2. GRAND DADDY HOTEL

The legendary and luxurious Grand Daddy Boutique Hotel is the world’s only rooftop trailer park. Apart from being a trailer park, there is also a cinema called Pink Flamingo and a Sky Bar you can visit.

Sit amongst the vintage Airstream trailers that are parked on the roof while watching the silver screen under the Cape Town sky.

You have the choice of three seating options when you book your movie tickets: General Seating, the Love Seat, or get cozy on the Couch. They all include a welcome drink, bag of sweets and popcorn. You can also order a picnic basket for an additional cost.

SKY BAR

If movies aren’t really your thing and you’ll prefer to enjoy a drink at the bar while watching the sunset then Sky Bar is where it’s at. Enjoy a glass of bubbly, or an ice cold beer or cocktail with the view of Cape Town’s Skyline.  They are open from Wednesday to Saturday, 4pm to 8.30pm during winter, and from Monday to Saturday, noon to 8.30pm in summer.
