One of Cape Town’s most popular bloggers, Instagrammer, YouTuber and all round nice guy, Mike Eloff had a once in a lifetime opportunity to capture video footage of a caracal on Table Mountain. Mike and his friend Nic were out on a trail run when they spotted the wild cat straight after hunting its prey.
Mike’s post on Facebook reads as follows,”I stumbled on the illusive Table Mountain Caracal this morning just as it made a dassie kill. After following it to it’s den, I placed a GoPro inside the little cave it calls home and managed to capture a mere glimpse of 55 minutes into the life of this beautiful and secretive creature.
