Lion’s Head is a mountain that lies between Table Mountain and Signal Hill and has some of the best hiking in Cape Town. You can take the hike with breathtaking views over the city or the Atlantic Ocean at day or night. It is specifically popular for full moon hikes. It is part of the Table Mountain National Park. The walk will take about an hour and only the top part is steep and sometimes becomes more like rock climbing than hiking. You don’t need a guide as the path is clear to follow. Make sure to take enough water with you.
