The video currently being shared on social media shows the Paulpietersburg SPAR staff singing gospel songs for Cape Town and the beautiful singing is sure to give you goosebumps.
Paulpietersburg is a small town in KwaZulu-Natal, 72 km south of Piet Retief and 151 km north-east of Dundee.
The staff at the SPAR collectively decided that they wanted to form a prayer circle for Cape Town and asked the manager if they could sing some songs once the shift had ended for the day.
The manager was so proud of his team that he asked if it would okay to film them, hopefully to inspire others around the country to also prayer for the much needed rain.
“Our hearts go out to all Capetonians. We were in the same place in Paulpietersburg and didn’t have water for a year and six months from a drought but we are now praying for you in the hopes that the heavens will open and you will get much needed rain.”
