Hottest New Experiential Cocktail Kitchen and Brandy Bar In Cape Town

There’s a new kid on the block called Cause & Effect that is raising the bar for the local watering holes.

Located in Gardens Cape Town, Cause & Effect opened its doors to the public on Dec 1, 2017. Kurt Schlecter and James ‘Trigger’ Phillips, the brains behind the bar, draw inspiration from local nature like Cape Town’s iconic fynbos, oceans, vineyards, and mountains to craft their experimental seasonal Cocktails.

You will be served by Barmen dressed in Chef jackets armed with pipettes, tweezers, scissors, paintbrushes, chef’s torches, smoke guns and ice stamps to craft your perfect cocktail.

“Every cocktail we serve to you is an experience of the senses. A work of art.” Cause & Effect bar wrote on one of their facebook post

They don’t only serve cocktails at this bar, they also have the best Brandy in town. They are the first ever 100% Potstill Brandy bar serving local award-winning Brandies. If you’re feeling a little peckish you can try one of their food boards offering cheeses, local meats & fynbos fusions.
