Can you identify these Awesome Cape Town spots?

April 22, 2017Every Sunday there is an Awesome Family Market at Blaauwklippen Wine Estate on the R44 outside Stellenbosh that we can highly recommend!
Wide open lawns paired with great old trees means that there is more than enough space to sit or lie down and just chill out while you are not walking around shopping for trinkets or stuffing your face with all the great culinary treats on sale.
When you arrive you get ushered into a parking area with the beautiful Stellenbosch mountains as a Backdrop. From there you stroll down a path lined with stalls selling all kinds of funky and arty products to get to the place you really want to be – the center court where all the food and drink vendors are. What I liked about the Blaauwklippen Family Market is the fact that it isn’t another one of those markets where everybody sells the same cheap, crappy, mass manufactured stuff. At the Blaauwklippen Family Market, there is actually a decent variety of interesting products on sale.
But, like I said earlier, the food and drink is the thing that really stood out. Long tables under big old trees stand in the center of an area lined by Awesome food stalls, serving a wide variety of delectable dishes. The bar has a decent variety of drinks available (Blaauwklippen wines obviously features very strongly) to ensure that everyone has a great time. There is also plenty to keep the kids busy while mom and dad enjoy their treats.
