Strawberry-picking season happens every year between October and December at several farms in and around Stellenbosch.

The Stellenbosch University Botanical Garden is the oldest university botanical garden in South Africa, with an array of plant species. Each section of the garden has its own unique theme.
Warwick is one of the most stunning wineries in Stellenbosch. Guests have the option of two picnic experiences, one can either relax on the lawns with bean bags and cushions. With this option you get served by a butler. On the other hand you can enjoy a delightful picnic.
Vredenheim is a wonderful option for a family day out, being both a wine farm and wildlife sanctuary where one can see lion, cheetah, leopard and tigers.
