Cape Town is not shy of adventure activities in the great outdoors. Dirty Boots in partnership with World Travel Market Africa offered up some fun outings for us to try. We started off with our safety briefing on signal hill and then began by adventuring down the service roads into the iconic and historical suburb of the BoKaap.
The terrain has a few steep gravel road sections, but is very manageable on the good quality and well built scooters. As you can see in the video and pictures below that we had a good variety of people and we all made it down with smiles on our faces.
Once we met up with the Scootours Cape Town team, we were shuttled across to Tafelberg Road to descend through the beautiful Deer Park, situated below Table Mountain. Again, it started out fairly steep but, became very manageable as we ventured down the service roads. There was a small single track section that made for some great fun if you are familiar with the sport of mountain biking. All said and done, I rate this as a must do activity in Cape Town.
To top things off, we then hopped onto some cool looking, old motorbikes from Cape Town Side Car Tours. We travelled through the top town, over Kloofnek and down into Camps Bay. This is a truly authentic experience as you get kitted out with a leather jacket, helmet, goggles and a cool bandana.
